InfoScoglitti, a place to be discovered
Scoglitti is a maritime town, a hamlet of Vittoria, which is about 11 km away. Economically it enjoys fishing, agriculture and above all tourism.
This idyllic seaside resort is located along the southeastern coast of Sicily about 30 km from the provincial capital Ragusa. The coast of Scoglitti offers many beaches that extend from the Ippari river, which are characterized by very fine sand and the presence, in some of these, of suggestive white dunes. The beaches are free and unspoiled, but there are some bathing establishments equipped with deck chairs and umbrellas. Their wide conformation with shallow waters, in addition to the presence of nearby bars and restaurants, make them the ideal place for a peaceful and comfortable holiday.
Scoglitti is also equipped with a fishing port, a tourist port and a refuge for fishing boats. A feature of the locality is the sale of fish at the small fish market (next to the lighthouse) every day.
