The House of Inspector Montalbano
Punta Secca is the best known seaside village of Santa Croce Camerina. The small fishing village is called by the inhabitants “‘a sicca” for a characteristic cliff that runs on the surface of the water and which develops in front of the eastern beach. Much of the fame of the small village is due to the fiction Il Commissario Montalbano.
The mild climate throughout the year, the free beaches and the restaurants along the seafront create the right atmosphere for those who want to enjoy a few days at the beach or want to walk and enjoy beautiful sunsets.
